These two gorgeous ladies joined me in studio for a little mother & daughter photoshoot.
After taking a quick look at their final outift choices, we planned the flow of the shoot to maximise the number of portraits, with as much fun and as little fuss as possible. I really love coordinating backdrops and outfits, often purchasing or even custom painting some specifically for each shoot.
“I hate having my photo taken anyway. Doesn’t it just make me look pretentious to everyone out there, and make them think that I think I’m ‘all that’?”
This absolute firecracker joined me for a portait shoot, and boy did she bring it. She arrived at the studio with a suitcase almost bursting at the seams with her clothes! Just the way I like it
This is probably the last thing that I thought I would blog. A series of self-portraits. And, as my son would put it “Yikes!”
It’s taken me a long time to feel comfortable enough in my own skin to feel that I was worth the effort of having photographs taken of just me. Photos with my son? Sure, we book a session every 18 months or so. But just me? You have got to be kidding!
I am so excited to finally be able to blog this beaut of a shoot! I may have randomly blurted out this fabulous fact while Dani was still selecting the images she wanted printed during her reveal. I’m in love with every single image.
Tracey, otherwise known as Potty to her friends, is one of those people who brings a smile to everyone she meets. Anytime that I have a bad day, this little ray of sunshine can turn it around, and she’s always there for you when you need her.
